Richard J. Fetchick received his MD at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his Internal medicine training and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He has over 30 years of experience addressing a wide variety of infections. He is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, Texas Infectious Diseases Society, the American College of Physicians, Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society, and is an active member and Treasurer for Texas Infectious Diseases Society.

Carl Berkowitz, M.D., received his MD from The University of Massachusetts. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at The University of Texas at San Antonio Health Science Center, where he also serviced as Chief Resident.

Luis Cisneros, M.D., received his MD from Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru. He completed his Internship and Internal Medicine Residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his Infectious Diseases Fellowship at The University of Maryland.

Carline DeWitt, M.D., received her MD from The University Of Texas at San Antonio Health Science Center. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center.

Dr. Jones received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Oklahoma in 1997, and his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2001. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern, and his Infectious Diseases fellowship training at the Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, MO. Dr. Jones has been in practice with SAIDC since 2008. He has a special interest in the care of immunocompromised and transplant patients.

Kimberly Moran, M.D., received her MD from The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Dr. Melgarejo received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (National University of Colombia) and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Mc.Govern Medical School in Houston, TX, which included several hospitals at the Texas Medical Center, including the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Hermann Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. His research interests include travelers gastroenteritis, Clostridium difficile, Chagas disease and Murine typhus. He holds academic appointments as an adjunct assistant professor at UT Health San Antonio, the UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine and he also teaches residents from the Christus Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and students from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico. He is an active member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American College of Physicians and the Texas Infectious Diseases Society.

David Chee received his MD at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He completed his Internal medicine training and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society. He is one of the youngest physicians in the practice and is known for tying his own bowties.

Gemma Berlanga, M.D., received her MD from The University of Texas Medical Branch. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Scott & White, Texas A&M Health Science Center.

Duane Hospenthal received his MD at Michigan State University. He completed his internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and a Fellow of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Dr. Hospenthal is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Texas Infectious Diseases Society, the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, the American College of Physicians, the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society.

Dr Arora received his Medical Degree from the Institute of Medical Sciences in Varanasi, India. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Odessa, Texas and Infectious Disease fellowship training at Eastern Virginia Medical Scholl in Norfolk, Virginia. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.

Dr Tapia received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Peru. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI and fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Bexar County Medical Society (BCMS) and member of its Public Health and Patient Advocacy Committee. He treats infectious diseases in immunocompetent and immunocompromised patients.

Jose Alejandro Coba is originally from Medellin, Colombia and received his MD from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. He earned a Master in Emergency/Disaster Management at Florida International University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX and completed his infectious Disease Fellowship from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
